NOT A HAPPY FLYER......

Virgin Atlantic here I come, ready or not......

Well in a few very short hours I will be up in the plane and on my way to England. This picture pretty well decribes how I feel about flying. I think I would rather have a root canal......

Flying and myself have never gone hand in hand and I wish it were like 'Star Trek' where I could say the immortal words "Beam me up Scottie" and seconds later I would arrive at my destination. I will of course be taking a sedative that would in normal circumstances fell a horse and the wonderful Breath Rite nasal strips. These little miracle workers are a must if I am going to prevent a hatch somewhere on the plane being opened up and myself ejected into the wide blue yonder! To say that I snore is being polite, it is more like a cat going through a wood chipper!! I am not kidding, so for the sake of the other passengers I will be sticking super industrial strength Breath Rite nasal strips to my nose and hoping for the best......

In normal circumstances my husband always travelled with me and this is the very first time at the old age of 54 that I will be flying on my own. I intend to befriend the poor sod next to me and tell whomever it is to dig me in the ribs if I become too vocal......

So until I get back please spare a thought for the many passengers on a 747 that will have to listen to me tonight and hope that we manage to land without an international incident......

Bon Voyage!!!!!!!
