HAPPY TO SEE MY BROTHER......

MY BROTHER AND I WHEN WE WERE FAB!!!!
(with my son Jonathan in Groomsport, Ireland)

On Saturday my brother, his wife and our nephew arrived from Indiana and we are having the best of times. It has been a really long 17 years (would you believe it) since we had seen each other. My nephew was a toddler when I last saw him and now he is all grown up!......

Where has the time gone, I blinked and it had passed!......

One thing I know for sure is that I am not going to wait another 17 years before we get together, life is way too short......

DUSTING OURSELVES OFF......

My husband and I have never been the type of people to stay down for long and now is no exception. We have had our low point and come up the other side. Christmas is around the corner and life is at the end of the day is what we make it......

We finally have some light at the end of the tunnel, we have sorted out Medicare for my husband and I am going to go onto COBRA and then we will see if anything is available for me. I have the dreaded pre-existing condition called Athsma so that tends to put a blot on health insurance. But until then we have some time and I am not going to spend it moping about......

Reubs and I have spent time together watching T.V and drinking tea, what could be more British than that. Also finally we are having some cold weather here in FLORIDA. Ok, for the sake of full disclosure I will say cold weather for Florida!!

I am setting myself the task of having a really good clear out through the house and I am going to begin listing everything and anything on my Etsy store http://www.tatteredroses.etsy.com/. I have far too much stuff and I need to continue letting it go. If we decide to go back to England I want to have the majority of clearing done and not leave it until the last minute......

My husband and I feel lighter of heart and have some hope for the future. We do not know what direction his disease will take but we do know for sure that we can go back to England to friends and family......

I am going to begin a new section on my blog and list for you some of the things that I am downsizing. I have been an avid collector of all things old and vintage for thirty years so I have lots to list. I hope that everything finds a new loving home......

Anyway I just want to wish everyong a wonderful and blessed Christmas from the bottom of my heart. I hope that your home will be full of faith, love and family, none of these blessing cost a penny but are the most precious......

Please accept the above image as a thank you gift from me, I have digitally repaired and restored the image and it has a high dpi. Enjoy working with it, there are no restrictions it is yours to do with as you wish......
