FAT, SICK AND NEARLY DEAD......

Wow, that is just about all I can say about this documentary. It was such an eye opener for myself and my husband and we sat spell bound for the duration of this program.

To go back a few days ago I was searching through the Netflix streaming list and stumbled across this documentary. I am always on the look out for things to watch with my husband and it is just about always through Netflix.

By the way on a side bar I am totally in love with Netflix streaming and my husband and I do 90% of our viewing in this way. For one thing we get to watch what we want, when we want and can avoid all of the awful mind numbing reality shows. So at least once a week I will take a look at the new programs on offer from Netflix.

Having explained that I have to say that the title of this documentary caught my attention. How could it not! So after sitting down and watching it my husband and I will be the proud new owners of a juicer by next week. I also took the time to buy a juicing recipe book also as I did not want to have something that was so foul I could not stomach to drink it.Will we be avid juicer's probably not but I think it would be good to try having a least one meal a day that is freshly juiced fruits and veggies. I will let you know how it goes and what I think of the experience. I am hoping that it will be a good addition to our health routine, fingers crossed!!

A GIFT FOR TIFFANY......

I just had to take a moment to show off a wonderful pair of earrings that I purchased from Etsy for my daughter in love Tiffany. When I saw these on one of my searches I put them into my favorites folder and went back time and again to see them. I knew that one day they would be gone so I eventually took the plunge and bought them.

I am so pleased that I did! Tiffany wore them yesterday and they were stunning on her. I am going to make her pose for me wearing them and take a pic for the blog. I now regularily take a peek at some of the offerings that are listed on Etsy.

Wonderful artists sell their lovely often one of a kind creations and they are so much better than anything Made in China and massed produced.

If you have never bought from Etsy before I heartily recommend taking a look at their website. You will find hand knitted beauties, one of a kind earrings, bracelets and everything in between.

I love the fact that these items are not mass produced and you will have something that is different from what is out there in the shops.

Stop by http://www.janetdavies.etsy.com/ as your first port of call and I hope you stop and visit the other artisans of Etsy a truly one of a kind website!
